Having 4 Animals Sucks When....

.... Your vacuum stops sucking and dies. It's a good thing I had Amazon credit from selling text books... There goes my new coffee maker and pasta press... Well, maybe just the pasta press... Or the coffee maker...
It's not our fault!

We didn't do it!
Hopefully this little dirt-sucking-beast will be able to tame the fur of the Tiny Gardener Homestead...
The Shark Navigator Elite Professional... 3 vacuums in one... A swiveling upright, easy to carry canister, and a lift away pod (whatever that means...) Look out hair!!!!!!!!

    1. I can't WAIT to clean my floors... I vacuumed 3 days ago, and it is already so flippin hairy in here... Ugh! I have to wait until Friday (hopefully) or next Wednesday. I may have to bust out the Shop Vac and take care of business.

    1. I will write a review when I finally get it in the mail. I am REALLY hoping it comes by Friday, otherwise I have to wait until after Christmas, which would really suck. You have animals, you know how the hair is.

This new one is bagless, as was my last. I don't think it is a big deal to have to empty it 2 or 3 times per vacuum session, especially considering how many animals we have and how big our house is. I would rather do that than pay for bags!

I am really excited for this one too because the canister supposedly pops off with the hose (extra long apparently) and you can clean the stairs without having to carry the whole thing up the stairs as you go.

    2. Oh, and my sister has a Shark vacuum, not this model, but it is awesome, which is why I decided on Shark brand, fyi. She has 2 kids, 2 dogs, and a husband who tracks in all kinds of stuff from the farm, so she has to have a beastly machine!

  4. I KNEW it was going to be a vaccum cleaner that died!! That is the WORST when you have indoor pets. I remember when hubby and I were first married and didn't have a vaccum cleaner - we thought ah, we can wait a couple more paychecks. OMG. One cat, a lab, and a newfoundland. We bought a vaccum cleaner right quick. :)

  5. I love my Shark, it really sucks (pun intended)! I replaced a 2 year old $400 bagless vac that only got used for 6 months of the year, then it died. Of course, the warranty was off. I got the Shark Navigator for $139 on sale, best $$$ I ever spent.

  6. I have a Shark Navigator & love that thing. It sucks up everything. Wash the filters, let 'em dry, stick 'em back in. It's GREAT!!!!!!!
